My son, Josh Spencer had been talking to me about P90X for about a year. Josh said that I would not be disappointed in my results if I would give it a try. I have been doing my Martial Arts workouts for about 25 years and felt at my age it was not the time to change my routine. After all I was running three businesses and would find it very difficult to add another complication to my life. I was 49 years old and started thinking more and more what Josh had been telling me about P90X. The daily workouts, diet, and everything else seemed more than I needed in my life. As I watched Josh progress I was impressed with his results. I started thinking more and more what Josh had been telling me about P90X. I was not eating right and my body was starting to show it. Age was catching up with me. Could I possibly get my old body back? If I only shed a few pounds and extended my quality life by ten years I would be happy. The more information I would read on P90X the more I thought it might be worth some more attention. But wait, where in the world would I get the time for the one-hour plus workouts? Well, I can’t remember when I ever turned down a good challenge especially if it made good practical sense. It was time to do some serious time management. If I was going to try this, I was going to do it 110 % and be successful at it. My daily agenda was already consisting of getting up at 7:00 am work with the businesses all day then paperwork until midnight or one am. How in the world can I stretch the day any longer? I spent two months making a decision that I was going to do it. Not sure that with this limited time on my hands that I could be successful. I spent two more days writing down my time management agenda. The agenda consist of turning over more of the bookwork, and getting up earlier. This freed up the time that I calculated that I would need. Up at 5:45 am done in most cases by 7:10 am. I was doing this for me, for my quality of life, and for my family. I am happy to say that I am now a P90X graduate. I have lost 23 pounds and am getting a better body than I had in high school. P90X has given me better results than I anticipated. I feel better, look much better, and feel that I have added more quality years to my life. Wondering if you have the time for P90X? Ask yourself if you want to change your quality of life. I made that decision with very little time on my hands with NO EXCUSES! Make the time for yourself. P90X is a marathon not a sprint. You must treat it as such.
